Great service, good price and a nice man We got home on Sunday afternoon from a weekend away to find our cat was stuck up a tree about 25 feet up. We tried but couldn't get him down. The fire service said they didn't do this service anymore so we searched for local tree surgeons and found Woody. He was at our house within 30 minutes and 10 minutes later we had our cat safely down, with Woody receiving a round of applause from the small crowd that gathered! Competent and Trustworthy I contacted Local Landscapes when a tree in my garden needed thinning. Chris and Errol carried out the work in accordance with my requests and with respect for the environment. They worked very competently, effectively and cheerfully. Being so satisfied with the service, I engaged them a second time, to fit a garden gate and fencing. Chris came to the rescue! A 1.5 ton branch from our horse chestnut came down on a Saturday lunchtime and partially blocked the road. Woody was over within an hour and tidied the worst, he then returned the next day (Sunday) and cleared the whole thing within 2 hours, leaving the road immaculate and us with lots of firewood and mulch! The job was made harder by the fact that the branch was hanging over a 8 foot wall and he managed to saw it without harming the wall! Can't thank him enough! By Patty Greaves
